We are seeking an experienced SFCC Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and support of enterprise-scale digital commerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SFCC, headless commerce architecture, PWA Kit, and modern JavaScript technologies, along with proven leadership experience delivering scalable e-commerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions.
- Architect and deliver headless commerce applications using PWA Kit, SCAPI, and OCAPI.
- Develop scalable, high-performance commerce applications using React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party commerce services.
- Optimize checkout, cart, pricing, promotions, and overall customer shopping experiences.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to development teams.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support production environments, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive performance improvements.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and promote DevOps and Agile best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software engineering and digital commerce experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware).
- Strong experience implementing and supporting SFCC with PWA Kit architecture.
- Experience designing and delivering headless commerce solutions using SCAPI and OCAPI.
- Advanced proficiency in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, REST APIs, and Commerce Cloud architecture.
- Strong understanding of checkout workflows, cart functionality, pricing, promotions, and customer journey optimization.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong production support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization experience.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices and API-first architectures.
- Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party commerce platforms.
- Experience supporting large-scale Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations.
- Knowledge of CDN and edge delivery technologies, including Akamai.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and FullStory.
- Knowledge of digital analytics and experimentation platforms, including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and Optimizely.
- Experience analyzing customer behavior, digital commerce metrics, and personalization strategies.
