Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions for enterprise eCommerce platforms.
• Build and customize SFCC storefront functionality using best practices for scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Develop integrations and APIs connecting SFCC with external systems such as OMS, payment gateways, inventory, and third-party services.
• Implement and enhance UI components to ensure responsive, high-quality user experience.
• Optimize storefront and application performance including page load time, rendering, and backend processing.
• Develop and maintain SFCC components such as controllers, pipelines, hooks, and services.
• Ensure seamless integration between frontend storefront and backend systems.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and defect resolution across development and production environments.
• Support release cycles, deployments, and post-release stabilization activities.
• Ensure adherence to security, scalability, and performance standards for commerce applications.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver user stories end-to-end.
• Maintain technical documentation for configurations, integrations, and custom developments.
• Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of SFCC platforms.
• Collaborate with UX, QA, backend, and DevOps teams for smooth delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and SFCC frameworks (ISML, controllers, pipelines, hooks).
• Experience in building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs for integrations.
• Strong knowledge of eCommerce architecture and storefront development.
• Experience in performance optimization of high-traffic commerce applications.
• Hands-on experience in debugging, issue resolution, and production support.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, deployment processes, and release management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of UI development and responsive design principles.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
