Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end release process, including planning, execution, and rollback strategies for Salesforce environments using Copado.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines for Salesforce changes.
  • Administer Copado for managing releases, user permissions, pipelines, and version control. Optimize branching strategies and deployment workflows.
  • Monitor deployment issues, troubleshoot root causes, and ensure effective rollback procedures.
  • Enforce change control processes, ensuring releases comply with organizational policies and governance.
  • Manage Salesforce environments (Dev, UAT, Prod), including sandbox setup, data migration, refresh scheduling, and data quality.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and business teams. Maintain up-to-date release documentation and ensure clear communication of release statuses and impacts.

 

Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Copado, version control, CI/CD automation, and metadata management.
  • Understanding of Salesforce standard/custom objects, flows, triggers, and Apex code.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Bitbucket) and Git for version control, branching, and conflict resolution.
  • Expertise in automating release processes to eliminate bottlenecks and improve deployment efficiency.
  • Experience with sandbox management, data migration, data masking, and anonymization.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

 

Desired Qualifications
  • Proven experience in managing Salesforce releases and deployments using Copado.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce governance, best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to continuously optimize release processes and automate manual workflows for better performance.

 

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Salesforce release management, with at least 1 year working with Copado.
