Job Description
- At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing complex, data-heavy web applications
- At least 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL / relational databases, AWS
- At least 2 years of front-end development experience using JavaScript, jQuery, React, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with design and building Web API development
- Leadership experience
- Time management, documentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience with PostGIS, Redis, and MySQL
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Github, Chef, and Puppet
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Version Control Systems (configuring Jenkins, Semaphore)
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM a plus
- Data mining experience a plus
- Experience with scaling and performance tuning of high-traffic, data-heavy sites a plus
- Experience with HAML and SASS a plus
