Ruby On Rails Developer

Core Responsibilities

• Develop clean, maintainable, reusable, and efficient Ruby on Rails code.
• Design and build RESTful APIs following industry standards.
• Implement unit and integration testing with adequate coverage for all features.
• Understand end-to-end web application behavior, including performance under load.
• Apply strong software engineering and system design principles.
• Work in an Agile development environment and contribute to iterative delivery cycles.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience building and consuming APIs.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Strong SQL skills including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Git-based version control (GitHub preferred).

Mandatory Skills

• Ruby on Rails (RoR)
• Azure Functions
• GitHub Copilot

Preferred Knowledge

• Test frameworks for Ruby (RSpec or equivalent).
• Performance optimization and scalable application design.
• Familiarity with modern web application architecture and cloud-based deployments.
