Job Description

We are seeking a Robotics Senior Engineer to support the debugging, assembly, quality assurance, and deployment of advanced robotic systems, including robotic arms and custom-built robotic solutions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure these systems are functional, reliable, and meet our high standards of performance. While you will not be required to develop software from scratch, a deep understanding of robotic operations and troubleshooting is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble robotic systems and ensure mechanical and electrical components are properly connected.
  • Debug robotic systems post-assembly, including identifying and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and integration.
  • Perform quality assurance testing in both lab and final deployment environments.
  • Run and interpret debugging scripts and support field testing (e.g., movement from point A to B).
  • Troubleshoot robotic arm functionality, including power supply and communication diagnostics.
  • Collaborate closely with other Robotics Engineers to support deployment and integration.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvements of existing systems.

Requirements
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with experience in both software and hardware systems.
  • Solid understanding of robotic operation principles (training provided on in-house systems).
  • Proven ability to assemble and test robotic components.
  • Hands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Python scripting experience (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment with other engineers.
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with significant hands-on experience in system debugging.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with robotic arms and industrial robotic systems.
  • Familiarity with deployment and QA processes in a robotics manufacturing or research setting.
  • Comfort using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools for hardware debugging.
