Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robotic software frameworks that interact seamlessly with physical robotic hardware and various perception systems.
• Integrate and calibrate perception technologies such as cameras, LiDAR, and tactile sensors to enhance robotic awareness and performance.
• Develop abstraction layers to facilitate plug-and-play integration of AI-based modules for robotic manipulation, motion planning, and control.
• Collaborate closely with AI researchers to convert cutting-edge research into reliable, production-grade software implementations.
• Optimize system performance and scalability for use in both simulation and real-world robotic environments.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across software, hardware, and integration layers to ensure stable operation.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and team knowledge-sharing to uphold high development standards.
• Continuously monitor and adopt emerging trends and technologies in robotics and AI to maintain innovation within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in C++ and Python, with a strong foundation in object-oriented design and algorithmic thinking.
• Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2 and other robotic middleware platforms.
• Solid understanding of AI and machine learning algorithms applied to robotics.
• Experience working with perception systems such as cameras, LiDAR, and tactile sensors.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tackling technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
