Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and drive end-to-end design and implementation of OpenShift Virtualization (CNV) solutions based on customer requirements.
• Implement and support Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) infrastructure with a focus on containerized virtualization and workload management.
• Provide guidance on cloud-native applications, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines within the OpenShift Virtualization ecosystem.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization for virtualized environments to ensure maximum efficiency and scalability.
• Offer advanced troubleshooting support and performance diagnostics for OpenShift Virtualization, ensuring systems are stable and performant.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business and technical requirements, offering tailored virtualization solutions using OpenShift and Cloud-native tools.
• Mentor junior consultants and clients' teams in understanding and using OpenShift Virtualization and related technologies.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in implementing and managing OpenShift Virtualization (CNV) solutions in a production environment.
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Virtualization (CNV) or Similar Certification preferred.
• Proven experience with OpenShift Virtualization (OCP Virt) components, including managing workloads, storage, and networking in a virtualized OpenShift environment.
• Strong understanding of OpenShift infrastructure, including cluster setup, deployment, monitoring, and management of OpenShift components.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integration of OpenShift with public and private clouds.
• Familiarity with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar for automating infrastructure management.
• Strong experience with Linux systems, particularly Red Hat/CentOS, and command-line proficiency.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Red Hat Certified Specialist or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) in OpenShift or related technologies.
• AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm Charts in the context of virtualized workloads.
• Experience with Data Center Automation & Orchestration tools.
