You will own the end‑to‑end release quality and triage lifecycle, including deployment validation, issue triage, mitigation, and development of tools to support software release operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands‑on experience with C/C++, Python, and Linux in production environments.
  • Experience with log management, monitoring, and analytics tools such as Elastic Stack (ELK), Splunk, and Grafana.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Experience working in a Senior Engineer or Technical Lead capacity, including mentoring junior engineers and influencing technical decisions.
  • Strong experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Proficiency with source control management tools such as Git and GitHub.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or Amazon Athena for data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond rapidly to critical field issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot end‑to‑end issues across broadband devices and RDK components, including WiFi/Mesh, DOCSIS, Fiber, LTE, and similar access technologies.
  • Perform source code reviews to identify defects and root causes within platform components.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues using Linux systems, networking protocols, and packet capture analysis.
  • Design, enhance, and maintain operational and triage tools, and architect DevOps solutions to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage AWS services (S3, Athena, QuickSight) to analyze data from millions of deployed field devices and generate actionable insights.
  • Develop and apply anomaly detection and data‑driven techniques to proactively identify system issues, including global metric comparisons across device models
