Responsibilities

• Oversee release cycles for observability platforms; coordinate legacy monitoring migrations and develop solutions for evolving needs.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, manage escalations, document fixes, and automate remediation processes.
• Monitor and enhance system performance and scalability.
• Partner with infrastructure, application, and business teams to align observability solutions with organizational goals.
• Drive process efficiency and adopt industry best practices.
• Deliver excellent support and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ensure adherence to security policies and remediate risks.
• Maintain detailed documentation of platforms, processes, and standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations with a focus on monitoring and performance tuning.
• 4+ years in an SRE role with observability tools.
• Strong development experience (JavaScript, Java, SQL, Spring Boot, Microservices).
• 5+ years with observability platforms (AppDynamics, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Expertise in GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD).
• Proven ability in creating event correlation rules and monitoring standards.
