Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate software releases, including branching, tagging, pull requests (PRs), merging, and versioning in GitHub.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, EKS, ECS, CloudFront, etc.) and configure load balancing for high availability.
• Work with Kubernetes and Docker to manage microservices, deployments, services, and replica sets.
• Implement and troubleshoot SSL/TLS certificates and IAM roles for secure communication.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and efficient software delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Release Engineering, including hands-on experience with GitHub (branching, PRs, merging, labels, etc.).
• 3+ years of experience in Release Management, with a proven track record of planning and coordinating software releases.
• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, EKS, ECS, Security Groups).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, microservices, and containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS certificates and related security protocols.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot across development, testing, and production environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
