Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic discussions and planning sessions to align UI development across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional cloud engineering teams to ensure cohesive implementation of UI features.
• Drive the evolution of our design system with a focus on scalability, innovation, and consistency.
• Partner with product, UX design, and application development teams globally to establish efficient and collaborative workflows.
• Work closely with product owners to pressure-test sprint planning, engineering goals, and roadmaps.
• Advocate for design systems, promote best practices, and raise engineering standards across teams.
• Mentor and grow junior engineers, promoting technical excellence and collaboration.
• Architect and develop React-based UIs, ensuring clean, maintainable code and reusable components.
• Support the design system by contributing to architectural principles such as tokenization and library tiering ecosystems.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with React UI development at a senior level.
• Proven ability to architect and build robust, scalable front-end applications with large-scale impact.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, CSS, modular CSS methodologies, and Node.js.
• Experience creating reusable, composable UI components in a component-based development environment.
• Solid knowledge of semantic HTML, native JavaScript, and UI design patterns.
• Strong debugging skills and experience with cross-browser compatibility and adapting UI experiences across devices.
• Experience with Figma and Sketch, and a good understanding of UX design principles.
• Ability to clearly document and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, modern SDLC processes, and front-end testing practices.

Desired Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on UI/UX development and modern frontend technologies.
• Experience supporting and evolving design systems and their architectural principles, including tokenization and component library ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of product development, deployment, and front-end testing practices.
• Degree or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
