Duties and Responsibilities

• Create a database with an administrative UI to allow maintenance.
• Create a public-facing end-user UI that meets accessibility requirements (currently WCAG 2.0, preferably WCAG 2.2).
• Address feedback from user acceptance.
• Testing/UX reviews and accessibility reviews and making final adjustments.
• Work with the production support team to implement and deploy
• Coordinate testing and incorporate feedback.
• A functioning, accessible, Rails application with a public end-user interface, CAS authenticated administrative UI for maintenance, and separate prod and test/QA environments.

Qualification/Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Strong understanding of the Ruby on Rails framework and its ecosystem.
• Experience with integrating Ruby on Rails applications with CAS for authentication and authorization.
• Familiarity with Java Development (JD) concepts, including Java EE, Spring Boot, or other Java-based frameworks.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with other authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth, OpenID)
• Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
