Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough and systematic testing of software, applications, or products to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
• Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements.
• Collaborating with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather testing requirements and understand the scope of the project.
• Utilizing various testing methodologies such as functional, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Logging and tracking defects, verifying bug fixes, and performing regression testing to ensure bug resolutions do not introduce new issues.
• Analyzing test results, documenting test reports, and communicating findings to the relevant team members and stakeholders.
• Contributing to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the overall quality of the team's deliverables.
• Mentoring and providing guidance to junior members of the QA team.
• Keeping up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 4 to 8 years of experience working as a quality assurance tester in software development or product-based industries.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Proficiency in using bug tracking tools and test management software.
• Familiarity with various testing techniques and tools for different types of testing, such as functional, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
