Python Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable Python-based solution architectures.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Develop proof of concepts and write production-quality code when needed.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to define technical solutions.
• Evaluate business requirements and recommend architecture patterns, frameworks, and technology solutions.
• Guide engineering teams on best practices for application design, coding standards, testing, and performance optimization.
• Lead technical discussions and support architectural decision-making across multiple projects.
• Ensure solutions align with scalability, reliability, security, and performance requirements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches to solve complex business challenges.
• Mentor development teams and promote engineering excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, including significant experience with Python.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale application architectures.
• Strong expertise in Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
