Python Developer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and microservices.
• Develop RESTful APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and cloud services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Follow security and coding standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong proficiency in Python 3.x.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API development.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming (AsyncIO, Celery).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as PyTest.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
