Key Responsibilities

• Perform thermal hydraulic analysis using codes such as RELAP and MELCOR to support safety assessments and simulations.
• Develop and apply PSA logic models, including fault trees and event trees, to evaluate system reliability and safety.
• Conduct probabilistic safety analyses to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate PSA results into safety analysis and decision-making processes.
• Produce detailed and accurate documentation for safety analysis reports and presentations.
• Stay current with advancements in PSA methodologies and thermal hydraulic analysis codes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all interactions.

Required Experience/Skills

• Proficiency in using RELAP and/or MELCOR for thermal hydraulic analysis.
• Experience in PSA logic modeling, including fault trees and event trees, or related PSA applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Nuclear, or related field).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on precision and accuracy.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and willingness to learn new software codes.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
• Excellent attention to detail and capability of producing error-free documents.
