Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct penetration tests in the UDN and Cloud environments to identify security vulnerabilities.
  • Perform static and dynamic application security testing to uncover potential risks.
  • Use advanced hacking tools and techniques to simulate real-world cyberattacks on systems, networks, and applications to assess security strength.
  • Identify and assess security weaknesses that could potentially be exploited by hackers.
  • Document penetration testing activities and report findings, including successful breaches, vulnerabilities, and recommended improvements.
  • Provide clear, actionable advice to mitigate security risks and enhance system defenses.
  • Provide security awareness training to employees and users to minimize potential security risks and improve overall security posture.
  • Assess physical security measures surrounding network hardware devices, servers, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Participate in project meetings, collaborate with teams to plan and execute security tests, and coordinate with other departments on security-related initiatives.

 

Required Skills/Experience
  • A minimum of 8 years of related work experience in penetration testing, cybersecurity, or a similar field.
  • Industry-standard cybersecurity certifications such as Ethical Hacking certification, SANS certifications, ISC2, or similar.
  • Ability to fulfill all job responsibilities of a penetration tester, including vulnerability assessment, network security, and web application security.
  • Ability to analyze malware and exploits through forensics, network traffic analysis, and the use of appropriate tools.
  • Strong understanding of scripting languages, security vulnerabilities, and various hacking techniques for system and application exploitation.
  • Expertise in writing detailed security reports and advisories, with the ability to communicate complex security issues in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Ability to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate them.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proven experience conducting penetration tests in both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, networking protocols, and web application security.
