We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with 10+ years of experience managing multiple technology projects from initiation through implementation and transition to production support. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project planning, cross-functional team coordination, risk management, stakeholder communication, and delivery governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple IT projects concurrently from initiation through implementation and transition to production support.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, milestones, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.
- Drive project execution against committed milestones and proactively address schedule, scope, resource, and delivery risks.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including application development, architecture, infrastructure, QA/testing, security, operations, and production support.
- Manage project governance, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies), action items, decisions, and executive-level status reporting.
- Track project progress, epics, stories, tasks, defects, dependencies, and milestones using Jira.
- Coordinate testing, implementation planning, release readiness, go-live activities, and post-production stabilization.
- Work closely with technical teams to resolve API integration, application integration, and cross-system dependency issues.
- Manage commitments, deliverables, timelines, and escalations with system integrators (SIs), product vendors, and third-party service providers.
- Communicate project status, delivery risks, issues, and mitigation plans to business stakeholders and technology leadership.
- Support implementation of third-party packaged software, including configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and production transition.
- Ensure project deliverables meet agreed scope, quality standards, timelines, and business objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT project management and technology delivery.
- Proven experience managing multiple IT projects simultaneously.
- Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, resource management, dependency tracking, and milestone management.
- Hands-on experience with Jira for project tracking, delivery management, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of APIs, application integrations, and technical dependencies.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
- Expertise in project governance, RAID management, executive reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience coordinating QA/testing, release management, implementation, go-live, and production stabilization.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage both technical delivery discussions and business-level stakeholder expectations.
