Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Ensure project solutions meet agreed quality standards, effectively address issues and risks, and foster trusted relationships between delivery teams and business partners.
  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide expert advice on effort estimates and overall project feasibility, and secure appropriate resourcing from both business and IT teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Deliver timely project updates and maintain visibility on factors impacting scope, schedule, or cost to sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain essential project documentation including stakeholder presentations, project charters, detailed plans, status reports, risk management reports, and retrospectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members while ensuring compliance with PMO standards and processes.
  • Build and nurture strong working relationships with business and technology teams to drive overall program success.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations by aligning team members and leadership on project goals, scope, and issue resolution.
  • Leverage expertise in both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, procurement, change, risk, and issue management.
  • Collaborate with the PMO team to identify and implement process improvements that enhance project quality and execution.
  • Quickly ramp up on Five9’s products, technologies, infrastructure, and development/release management processes by applying relevant business domain and technical knowledge.

 

Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience managing enterprise-level programs or projects.
  • Proven experience presenting to C-level executives.
  • Hands-on experience managing office buildouts, including design and implementation of office network infrastructure (circuit provisioning, hardware rack and stack/configuration, wired and wireless LAN installation and testing), conference room technology, and AV systems for large meeting rooms.
  • Experience leading M&A integrations, including collaboration tools integration, ITSM integration, and end-user support implementation.
  • Expertise in managing migrations or integrations of Microsoft O365 environments, including Exchange Mail, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Familiarity with data center operations and public cloud technologies encompassing infrastructure, databases, networking, telephony, voice, and information security.
  • Self-motivated and energetic with excellent interpersonal, organizational, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to understand and engage with technical details to gather complex requirements and drive projects to successful completion.
