Primary Responsibilities

• Maintains information technology strategies by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions.
• Maintains the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
• Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
• Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data centers.
• Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
• Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures and information security and control structures.
• Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; and anticipating requirements.
• Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiating corrective action.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by staying current on state-of-the-art practices.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Skills

• IT Technical Knowledge and Understanding – A strong grasp of IT Infrastructure, software development, systems integration, and emerging technologies is essential.
•  Proficient in Agile or Scaled agile Project Management methodologies and Strong ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects within timeline, scope, and budget.
•  Effective communication is key to managing expectations , resolving conflicts, and ensuring all stakeholders (technical, business, clients) are aligned. Ability to translate technical Jargon into business friendly language
•  Nice to have skills or certifications:
•  Safe Agilist Scaled Agile/ Certified Scrum master (CSM), PMP
•  AWS preferred; Azure/GCP experience can substitute.
