We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver asset management–related initiatives across front, middle, and back-office functions. The ideal candidate will plan, execute, and govern projects spanning sales & distribution, investment operations, regulatory changes, and technology transformation. The role requires strong stakeholder management, risk management, and domain knowledge in financial services. Experience working with global delivery teams and vendors is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead asset management projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with business and IT teams to align requirements, manage dependencies, and drive successful outcomes.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Manage project risks, issues, and change requests while maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment on project goals.
- Partner with vendors and external teams for project delivery and integration.
Required Technical/Functional Skills
Agile & Project Management:
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to lead agile teams.
- Experience in project planning, execution, and governance within asset management.
Asset Management Domain Expertise:
- Knowledge of asset management business processes (Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office).
- Familiarity with investment products: Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Mutual Funds, ETFs.
- Understanding of portfolio management, trade lifecycle, and settlement processes.
- Experience with NAV calculation, fund accounting, and performance & attribution.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (SEC, FINRA, AML, KYC, ESG reporting).
- Exposure to asset management platforms and data (Order Management Systems, Market Data, Reference Data).
Preferred Skills
- Experience coordinating with global delivery teams and vendors.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
