Full life-cycle project/program manager who will work with sub tracks to build and roll out new Support Services Portfolio. Act as primary liaison on behalf of the PMO organization, project and partner teams.
The selected applicant will:
Work with multiple internal project teams by leading and managing project planning, and deliverables tracking for portfolio projects. Focus will be on building and handling a strategic program to integrate independent work streams and to ensure that all deliverables meet PMO standards.
Actively participate in planning and execution of project knowledge transfer in preparation for the implementation and operation of the improvement.
Support and ensure timely and accurate project tracking and reporting as well as issue/risk analysis and escalation
Minimum BS/BA degree in general business or related field is highly desired.
PMP is Required
Minimum 5 years experience as a project manager; 2+ years experience serving in a program management role working within a large PMO environment
Experience in project planning, tracking and reporting and process improvement is required.
All candidates must be versed in PMBOK methodology including assessing scope, partner management, requirements gathering and serving as liaison within functional teams.
All candidates must have experience working with business side projects and have in-depth knowledge of full life-cycle project management and constraints
Advanced hands-on experience using MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
Preference will be given to candidates available to interview and work on-site in RALEIGH, NC. Remote candidates will be considered as telecommuting is available for this role.
