We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Product QA Workflow Specialist with a strong technical background in GIS and Navigation systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality data and map products through meticulous analysis, editing, and validation in alignment with client standards and workflows.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) on GIS and Navigation data to ensure compliance with client standards.
- Execute top-level map editing and perform imagery analysis to identify, validate, and correct spatial data errors.
- Review, interpret, and apply map standards documentation accurately in daily tasks.
- Navigate and utilize Data Management Systems (DMS) for data validation, editing, and workflow tracking.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across deliverables.
- Document QA results and provide clear feedback or reports to internal stakeholders.
- Participate in and successfully complete client-specific training and certification programs.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and demonstrate a strong commitment to product quality.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve QA workflows and data integrity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with GIS / Navigation data.
- Proven editing proficiency using GIS tools and software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo, etc.).
- Strong imagery analysis and interpretation skills.
- Ability to comprehend and implement map standards and specifications.
- Experience with Data Management Systems and related workflow tools.
- Exceptional written communication skills and documentation ability.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.
