Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define and own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for Workday Compensation & Benefits
  • Translate business and Total Rewards strategy into clear product outcomes, capabilities, and prioritized features
  • Establish and manage a value-driven prioritization framework (employee experience, operational efficiency, compliance, and scalability)
  • Align roadmap with enterprise HR technology strategy and Workday platform capabilities
Domain Expertise & Advisory
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Total Rewards, HR, and Compensation leadership teams
  • Provide subject matter expertise in:
    • Compensation cycles (merit, bonus, equity, incentives)
    • Benefits design, administration, and lifecycle management
    • Regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements in HR systems
  • Challenge and optimize existing processes to drive simplification, standardization, and scalability
Solution Design & Delivery
  • Partner with Workday architects, engineers, and functional teams to design scalable configurations and solutions
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle activities including discovery, design, development, testing, and release
  • Facilitate design thinking workshops, prototyping sessions, and stakeholder alignment discussions
  • Ensure solutions align with Workday best practices and enterprise architecture standards
Innovation & AI Enablement
  • Identify opportunities to enhance Compensation & Benefits processes through AI, automation, and advanced analytics
  • Drive use cases such as pay equity insights, compensation recommendations, and benefits personalization
  • Collaborate with platform and data teams to integrate intelligent and automated decision-support capabilities
Execution & Governance
  • Own and manage product backlog, prioritization, and delivery coordination
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards
  • Track and measure product success through KPIs such as cycle efficiency, adoption rates, and employee experience improvements
  • Drive continuous improvement based on feedback and performance metrics
Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in HR technology, with strong expertise in Workday Compensation and Benefits modules
  • Deep functional knowledge of:
    • Workday Advanced Compensation
    • Workday Benefits Administration
  • Proven experience working in a product-based operating model
  • Strong understanding of compensation and benefits processes, including global HR practices
  • Experience collaborating with executive-level stakeholders and HR leadership teams
  • Strong ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in large-scale Workday implementations or transformations
  • Familiarity with vendor ecosystems (e.g., outsourced benefits administrators such as Alight or similar)
  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven HR analytics and decision-support systems
  • Experience in enterprise agile product delivery environments
