We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, and the ability to translate business direction into actionable deliverables. This role requires someone who is Salesforce savvy, has DevOps exposure, and can drive sprint planning and execution while effectively managing dependencies across teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and align product vision with business objectives.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlog items.
- Prioritize and maintain the product backlog to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborate closely with Scrum Master and development teams to plan and deliver successful sprints.
- Identify, communicate, and track blockers and dependencies across teams.
- Provide timely status updates to Project Managers and other Product Owners.
- Ensure a technical understanding of deliverables and the ability to elaborate and clarify requirements as needed.
- Lead discussions with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment.
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding teams toward outcomes, removing obstacles, and facilitating decision-making.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Ability to understand technical deliverables and articulate them clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-team dependencies and ensure smooth collaboration.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a focus on delivery.
- Prior leadership or team management experience is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills
- Background in Data-related projects is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or other Agile project management tools.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
