We are seeking a hands-on Product Owner to lead end-to-end asset movement capabilities, including ACH, wire transfers, and internal journals/transfers. This role sits at the intersection of product, operations, compliance, risk, and technology, requiring strong knowledge of how money moves through regulated financial platforms. This is a delivery-focused product role, not just backlog management.
Key Responsibilities
- Own asset movement workflows from initiation through approvals, execution, exceptions, and reporting
- Manage ACH, wires, journals, reversals/returns, limits, cutoffs, and transaction lifecycle states
- Translate complex business needs into clear product requirements and user stories
- Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams
- Define validations, controls, workflows, and exception handling processes
- Prioritize and manage backlog based on business value, operational impact, and regulatory requirements
- Support Agile delivery by refining stories, answering questions, and driving outcomes
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of Product Owner/Product Management experience in financial services or fintech
- Strong understanding of ACH, wire transfers, and asset movement operations
- Experience working in regulated financial environments
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience with excellent stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to create detailed business requirements and process flows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in brokerage, banking, or wealth management platforms
- Knowledge of NACHA, payment operations, and transaction controls
- Familiarity with risk, compliance, and operational workflows
