The Product Analyst gathers and analyzes business requirements, translating them into clear, actionable functional specifications. This role partners closely with stakeholders, engineering, and QA to ensure delivered features meet business intent and measurable outcomes—without reliance on AI-assisted mapping.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Elicit and document requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and artifact reviews.
- Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop process flows, wireframes, and backlog refinement materials.
- Support prioritization by clarifying scope, dependencies, and value/effort tradeoffs.
- Maintain JIRA and Confluence hygiene, including epics, stories, definitions, and traceability.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA to ensure features are delivered as intended and measurable.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst in software delivery environments.
- Strong technical writing skills for requirements, specifications, and structured communication.
- Proficiency with Agile tools (JIRA) and documentation platforms (Confluence).
- Ability to create wireframes and process flows and effectively communicate with technical teams.
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and navigating ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience defining AI/ML product requirements, evaluation metrics, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Familiarity with healthcare or Medicare business processes.
- Experience leveraging analytics to define KPIs and instrument product telemetry.
