Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer to design, implement, upgrade, and support enterprise PAM solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PAM platforms, privileged credential management, automation, cloud security, and compliance while ensuring secure privileged access and operational resilience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity & Access Management (IAM), or Cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience implementing, administering, and supporting enterprise PAM solutions.
- Experience with PAM modernization initiatives, platform upgrades, disaster recovery planning, and operational resiliency improvements.
- Strong understanding of privileged account lifecycle management, credential vaulting, session management, and least-privilege access principles.
- Experience securing privileged access across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Required Technical Skills
- Experience with one or more PAM platforms such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea (Thycotic), or equivalent enterprise solutions.
- Knowledge of cloud security and secrets management across Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or similar cloud environments.
- Experience integrating PAM solutions with Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD/Entra ID, and enterprise identity services.
- Proficiency with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience working with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and automation frameworks.
- Understanding of privileged session management, credential rotation, password vaulting, and secrets management.
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and cloud infrastructure administration.
- Experience troubleshooting complex authentication, authorization, and privileged access issues.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise PAM solutions.
- Lead PAM modernization projects, platform upgrades, and migration activities.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies to ensure high availability and operational resilience.
- Secure privileged credentials, service accounts, and privileged sessions across enterprise environments.
- Implement cloud-native secrets management and privileged access controls for Azure, AWS, and GCP workloads.
- Automate PAM administration using scripting, APIs, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Integrate PAM platforms with identity providers, cloud services, DevOps pipelines, and enterprise applications.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize PAM platform performance.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps teams to strengthen privileged access security.
- Support security audits, compliance initiatives, and remediation activities.
