Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Technology Architect with strong expertise in IBM Sterling Integrator and B2B/EDI integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting B2B/EDI transaction processes and partner onboarding activities. This role requires hands-on experience in mapping, integration development, troubleshooting, and production support within enterprise integration environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with clients, business analysts, and internal teams to gather business and technical requirements for partner onboarding and integration enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain physical and logical maps for B2B/EDI integrations using IBM Sterling Integrator.
  • Design, build, test, implement, and support EDI/B2B transaction workflows and integration solutions.
  • Support and maintain EDI transactions involving file formats such as X12, EDIFACT, IDOCs, XML, JSON, and CSV.
  • Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, and APIs.
  • Create and support APIs and integration interfaces for external trading partners and enterprise systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for production support incidents and integration failures.
  • Work with JDBC/SQL and IBMi DB for data integration and backend connectivity.
  • Ensure timely onboarding of trading partners and maintain existing partner configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and scalable B2B integration solutions.
  • Participate in system enhancements, migration activities, testing, and deployment support.
  • Provide technical documentation and support operational best practices.
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator.
  • Expertise in logical mapping, development, design, testing, implementation, and support of B2B/EDI transactions.
  • Experience working with common EDI/file formats including:
    • X12
    • EDIFACT
    • IDOCs
    • XML
    • JSON
    • CSV
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • AS2
    • SFTP
    • API creation and troubleshooting
    • JDBC/SQL
    • IBMi DB
  • Experience supporting and maintaining enterprise B2B integration environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
