We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant / Business Analyst with strong expertise in business analysis, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and digital transformation within the Energy, Oil & Gas, and sustainability domains. The ideal candidate will support the development and enhancement of a Bio Low Carbon platform, translating business requirements into scalable digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design for the Bio Low Carbon platform.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand business needs and define functional requirements.
- Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable digital solutions.
- Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps, and recommend process optimization and automation opportunities.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, Agile ceremonies, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Perform data analysis using SQL and support business reporting and analytics through Power BI.
- Use Azure DevOps to manage backlogs, user stories, tasks, defects, and sprint activities.
- Support system integrations, API requirements, data mapping, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to regulatory reporting, sustainability initiatives, and low-carbon business processes.
- Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare documentation, track project progress, and communicate risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis, requirements management, and Agile delivery.
- Strong experience with stakeholder management and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Power BI, and SQL.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and solution design.
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, FRDs, and process flow diagrams.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and backlog management.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, data mapping, and system integrations.
- Familiarity with APIs and digital transformation programs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
