Roles & Responsibilities

• Configure, secure, and optimize the Power Platform environment (including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps) to align with business requirements and ensure maximum efficiency.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all connected systems by managing data connections, implementing secure data flows, and optimizing queries.
• Oversee user access, permissions, and roles in the Power Platform, addressing user requests and troubleshooting issues.
• Implement and enforce data security policies, manage backup/recovery strategies, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Design and deliver actionable, insightful Power BI reports and dashboards from various data sources, accessible across devices.
• Use Power Automate for task automation, service alerts, and workflow management.
• Manage custom visuals, develop custom connectors, and ensure seamless integration within the Power Platform environment.
• Oversee user and group management, including the scheduling of reports and governance of Power BI usage.
• Assist with managing Azure cloud services in relation to Power BI, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Job Requirements

• Extensive experience with Power BI, Power Platform, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI administration, data management, and dashboard/report creation.
• Strong understanding of data security, user access management, and governance within Power BI and the Power Platform.
• Proficiency in SQL for query optimization; experience with data integration from systems like Teradata.
• Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, and Azure cloud services is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities to interact with stakeholders and users effectively.
