We are seeking an experienced Power BI Lead with a strong background in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that enhance business intelligence capabilities. You will lead a team of data analysts and developers, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics.
- Manage the ETL processes using SSIS to ensure data accuracy and availability for reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Oversee data modeling and architecture to support BI solutions.
- Ensure best practices in data governance and security are followed.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members in both Power BI and SSIS development.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing reports and data flows.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in business intelligence and data integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in BI solutions, with at least 3 years in Power BI and SSIS.
- Proven experience leading BI projects and managing a team.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data visualization techniques.
- Expertise in SSIS for ETL processes, including package design and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of SQL Server databases and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with data modeling and architecture best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., Azure, Power BI Service).
- Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.
- Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
