We are looking for an experienced Power BI Integration Specialist to manage and migrate Power BI environments, ensure secure embedding, and automate reporting workflows. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power BI development, administration, and integration with external systems.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–10 years in Power BI development and administration
- Expertise with Power BI REST APIs, JavaScript SDK, Power BI Embedded
- Strong knowledge of RLS/OLS, workspace management, dataset security
- Hands-on experience with Azure AD, service principals, token authentication flows
- Proficiency in DAX, data modeling, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, PowerShell automation, and monitoring frameworks
Roles & Responsibilities
- Configure and migrate Power BI workspaces, datasets, reports, and gateways.
- Develop automation for report publishing, dataset refresh, and workspace synchronization using REST APIs and PowerShell.
- Implement secure embedding, token management, and SDK-based integrations.
- Define and enforce RLS/OLS rules and synchronize access with IAM systems.
- Monitor dataset refreshes, workspace capacities, and build admin dashboards.
- Collaborate with developers and data engineers to optimize data models and token-based report access.
- Maintain scripts and workflows for environment migration, dataset lineage validation, and continuous improvements.
