Job Description

We are looking for an experienced PLM Product Owner to drive the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of our PLM systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLM software (e.g., 3DX, Teamcenter), a strong understanding of aerospace product processes and certifications, and a proven track record of delivering PLM solutions in an Agile environment.

Required Technical / Functional Skills
  • Hands-on experience with PLM systems such as 3DX or Teamcenter.
  • Knowledge of aerospace processes, certifications, and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience in executing projects using Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
  • Background in engineering, IT, or product data management, including PLM customization and integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities

Backlog & Strategy:

  • Define, prioritize, and maintain the PLM product roadmap and backlog.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, manufacturing, IT, and external partners.
  • Gather requirements and drive adoption of PLM solutions across the organization.

Process Improvement:

  • Optimize PLM workflows, including Change Management (ECR/ECN), BOM management, and document control.
  • Align processes with business goals and industry best practices.

Agile Leadership:

  • Lead product development using Scrum or SAFe methodologies.
  • Facilitate grooming, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies with technical teams.

System Ownership:

  • Ensure system availability, data integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate testing, deployment, and adoption of new features and enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with PLM system customization, integration, and lifecycle processes.
  • Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe, PSM) – preferred.
