Job Description
Job Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Kubernetes clusters. Oversee resource provisioning and configuration management to ensure efficient cluster operation.
  • Monitor and optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance, scalability, and resource utilization. Identify and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex Kubernetes-related issues, including network connectivity, storage, and application failures. 
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools (e.g., Python, Bash) to streamline Kubernetes operations, reduce manual tasks, and improve deployment processes.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure Kubernetes infrastructure aligns with business and technical requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cluster architecture, configurations, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies in cloud computing, container orchestration, and DevOps practices to enhance expertise and contribute to team growth.

 

Job Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
  • Proficiency with cloud services, such as AWS and Azure, and their Kubernetes offerings (e.g., EKS, AKS).
  • Strong understanding of key Kubernetes concepts, including pods, services, deployments, stateful sets, and storage management.
  • Demonstrated experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and configuration management.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively within teams and with stakeholders.
  • A passion for learning and staying current with new technologies and industry trends.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Kubernetes certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist), or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer).
  • Experience with Kubernetes-based orchestration tools like Helm, and monitoring tools like Grafana, Dynatrace, and Prometheus.
  • Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies to integrate Kubernetes into the software development lifecycle.
  • Contributions to open-source Kubernetes projects or active participation in relevant communities.
