Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the infrastructure platform catalog
• Define and enforce architectural patterns and standards
• Design for resiliency and define failure domains
• Collaborate with the CPS core engineering team to deliver infrastructure design solutions
• Partner with the SRE teams embedded within application teams to scale the PEArch mission
• Keep the broader CPS organization informed about upcoming impactful platform initiatives.

Required Skills

• Experience with Webfarm, Treadmill, and MKS
• Proficiency in managing Virtual Machines (VMs), Containers, and Serverless architectures
• Knowledge of Object and File storage systems
• Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and Time-Series databases
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and traditional Message Queues (MQ)
• Ability to implement and analyze Logs, Metrics, and Traces for system monitoring
• Expertise in Authentication, Secrets Management, and maintaining Audit Trails
• Understanding of Ingress, Service Mesh, and DNS configurations
