Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
• Implement and manage server monitoring tools to ensure the health, availability, and performance of Linux systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues, network problems, and outages.
• Perform server hardware maintenance and upgrades as required.
• Design, develop, and implement monitoring and reporting tools using scripting languages (BASH, PowerShell).
• Create test automation frameworks and work with other teams to ensure application functionality and stability.
• Design and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize system downtime and data loss.
• Design, implement, and maintain Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK Stack) solutions for both production and non-production environments.
• Monitor and optimize performance of Elasticsearch clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Build custom dashboards and visualizations in Kibana for actionable insights into system performance and logs.
• Ensure the security of systems through regular updates, hardening, and implementation of security best practices. 

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Linux-based systems administration (e.g., RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as BASH, PowerShell, or other automation tools.
• In-depth experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK Stack) management and optimization.
• Proven experience in infrastructure automation and monitoring (e.g., using tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in a Linux environment.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Solid understanding of security practices and ability to harden systems and applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to both technical and non-technical discussions.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based systems.
• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or other monitoring tools.
• Experience in managing high-availability environments and distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
