Position Overview
The Pilot Deployment Leader will be responsible for the successful pilot planning, deployment, implementation, and testing of our software solutions in clinical environments. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and experience in healthcare IT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, and medical software, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployments.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing pilot programs.
- Plan Coordinated and executed pilot tests of the cloud-based medical software in selected healthcare facilities.
- Monitor and document the performance, usability, and user feedback during pilot phases.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, escalating to the development team when necessary.
- Gather feedback from end-users and stakeholders to identify opportunities for software improvement.
- Work closely with the product and development teams to refine features and resolve any identified issues.
- Develop detailed deployment plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Lead the deployment process, ensuring all steps are completed on schedule and within scope.
- Collaborate with internal and external IT teams to ensure software working with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Conduct system configurations and optimizations tailored to each facility's needs.
- Provide hands-on technical support during the deployment phases, resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure, software configuration, and user access.
- Support IT staff on software functionality and best practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides and deployment checklists.
- Ensure that all deployments adhere to healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, and maintain high standards of data security and privacy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in deploying cloud-based software and hardware, preferably in a healthcare or medical environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and infrastructure
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple deployments simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Experience with healthcare data security and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
