Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on both functional and technical requirements.
• Perform manual and automated testing of PeopleSoft modules including HCM, Financials, and CRM.
• Conduct system integration, functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand system requirements and design test strategies.
• Create and maintain test data for various test scenarios.
• Execute end-to-end testing of PeopleSoft applications to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Develop and enhance automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, QTP/UFT, or PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF).
• Maintain existing automation suites to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Utilize defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM) to log, track, and manage defects.
• Participate in defect triage meetings and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct performance testing using tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter and analyze system behavior.
• Generate detailed test reports including coverage, results, and defect metrics.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing data and assisting end-users.
• Document test processes and ensure all test artifacts are current and accessible.
• Provide support during deployment to ensure a smooth transition to production.

Required Skills

• Proven experience with manual and automated testing practices.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF), Selenium, and/or QTP/UFT.
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft architecture, integration, and functional workflows.
• Proficient in SQL for data validation and test scripting.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter (preferred).
• Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, ALM).

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in PeopleSoft testing, preferably in modules such as HCM, FSCM, or CRM.
