We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pega Lead System Architect to lead the design and implementation of Pega-based solutions within a complex banking environment. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Pega PRPC 7.x/8.x, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in the banking sector—particularly in AML/KYC compliance systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade Pega solutions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in Pega architecture, design, and development through code reviews and design validation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including onshore and offshore developers, business analysts, and project managers.
- Create reusable components and frameworks to standardize development across the enterprise.
- Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle – including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Provide architectural guidance on Pega capabilities and limitations and suggest design improvements.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall delivery frameworks and manage development using tools like JIRA.
- Contribute to AML/KYC module development and enhancements based on evolving business and regulatory needs.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of total IT experience with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Pega PRPC (v7.x/8.x).
- Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA) in version 7.x or above.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the banking domain, including at least 3 years in AML/KYC systems.
- Proven ability to work in both Agile and Waterfall development environments.
- Strong expertise in developing scalable, reusable Pega components and managing Pega application frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Pega add-ons and tools like BIX, Survey, or Robotic Automation.
- Additional Pega certifications such as PCBA (Pega Certified Business Architect) and PCDC (Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant) are a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation in Pega environments.
