We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pega Lead System Architect to lead the design and implementation of Pega-based solutions within a complex banking environment. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Pega PRPC 7.x/8.x, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in the banking sector—particularly in AML/KYC compliance systems.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade Pega solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in Pega architecture, design, and development through code reviews and design validation.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including onshore and offshore developers, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Create reusable components and frameworks to standardize development across the enterprise.
  • Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle – including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Provide architectural guidance on Pega capabilities and limitations and suggest design improvements.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall delivery frameworks and manage development using tools like JIRA.
  • Contribute to AML/KYC module development and enhancements based on evolving business and regulatory needs.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of total IT experience with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Pega PRPC (v7.x/8.x).
  • Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA) in version 7.x or above.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the banking domain, including at least 3 years in AML/KYC systems.
  • Proven ability to work in both Agile and Waterfall development environments.
  • Strong expertise in developing scalable, reusable Pega components and managing Pega application frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Pega add-ons and tools like BIX, Survey, or Robotic Automation.
  • Additional Pega certifications such as PCBA (Pega Certified Business Architect) and PCDC (Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation in Pega environments.
