Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and architect network and security solutions with Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access Secure Access Service Edge (SASE).
• Configure, manage, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, including content updates, WildFire, URL filtering, NAT policies, and other security functionalities.
• Implement and manage centralized firewall management using Panorama, including template creation, policy management, and log collection.
• Manage and troubleshoot Prisma Access, including gateways, security policies, DNS security, decryption policies, file blocking, and tunnel configurations.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for firewall-related issues, GlobalProtect VPN connectivity, and application performance issues.
• Administer firewall VPNs, rules, and policies, ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable, secure network solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks products, including Firewalls, Panorama, and Prisma Access.
• Strong expertise in network and security architecture design and implementation.
• Proficient in troubleshooting firewall issues, VPN configurations, application slowness, and global protect issues.
• Excellent knowledge of DNS security, file decryption, URL filtering, and Tunnel Management.
• Experience with firewall content updates, policy management, and advanced threat prevention tools like WildFire.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto firewall features like NAT policies, security policies, and log management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• [Preferred] Relevant certifications like Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Prisma Access Secure Web Gateway and related SASE solutions.
• Knowledge of advanced security protocols and next-gen security technologies.
• Ability to create detailed documentation for network and security configurations and policies.
