Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Palantir Consultant with experience in the energy sector (oil & gas) to provide onsite and remote support, mentoring, and development for Palantir applications. The consultant will work closely with site users to optimize platform usage, improve data quality, and enable advanced analytics through Palantir Foundry.

Core Responsibilities
  • Provide face-to-face and remote support and mentoring for site users on Palantir applications, including Quiver, Contour, Workshop, Object Explorer, Pipeline Builder, Automate, AIP Logic, and AIP Agent Studio.
  • Track, manage, and resolve site-specific Palantir support tickets and liaise with central teams as needed.
  • Participate in Beta/Early Access testing for centrally developed or site-promoted Palantir applications.
  • Manage and govern data quality, tracking Ontology/Dataset issues, and coordinating edits and approvals with central teams.
  • Develop a 12-month site Palantir skills development plan, including understanding current platform utilization and establishing user skill targets.
  • Conduct research and development to create reusable examples of Palantir applications to enable site users to build their own solutions.
Top Areas of Responsibility
  • Palantir Foundry expertise – application development, support, and mentoring.
  • Oil & Gas domain knowledge to guide platform utilization effectively.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages to enhance application workflows and automation.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5–8 years of experience with Palantir, including Foundry ecosystem expertise.
  • Strong understanding of Ontology, Datasets, code repositories, and permission management within Palantir.
  • Experience with best practices for building and scaling applications in Palantir Foundry.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, TypeScript, or SQL).
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with experience teaching small groups of users.
  • Familiarity with the refining/downstream oil & gas business is a plus.
