We are seeking a skilled OT Security Design Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in operational technology security engineering. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing technologies, including PLCs, and experience in supporting multi-site environments within an enterprise framework. Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and other relevant security frameworks is essential.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security solutions for operational technology systems, ensuring the protection of manufacturing processes.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses on OT environments, identifying potential threats and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into existing manufacturing technologies.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents and alerts in OT systems, responding to security breaches effectively.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and architecture relevant to OT systems.
- Ensure compliance with NIST CSF and other industry standards, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Provide training and support to staff on OT security practices and technologies.
- Support the implementation of security tools and technologies tailored for multi-site operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in OT security engineering or related roles, particularly within manufacturing settings.
- Proficient with PLCs and other manufacturing technologies.
- Experience working in an enterprise environment with multi-site support capabilities.
- Strong understanding of NIST CSF and other cybersecurity frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
