Job Description

Job Description: 

  • The Organizational Change Manager will lead all aspects of the OCM in support of an M&A Transaction.
  • This will include developing strong working relationships, becoming a “Trusted Advisor”, with the key Client Stakeholders / Decision makers and taking full responsibility for managing all the change management initiatives associated with the M&A Transaction.

 

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):  

  • The Candidate will be the primary clients contact for OCM with the key Client Stakeholders and Business Process owners. 
  • The Candidate will need to become a trusted advisor, managing business expectations. 
  • The Candidate will oversee and drive the change management initiatives throughout the Transaction life cycle, delivering on the TOM benefits. 
  • The Candidate will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfil the role of change sponsor. 
  • The Candidate will define overall OCM strategy and lead delivery efforts for each facet of OCM, including executive alignment, stakeholder analysis and communication, readiness assessments, journey mapping, change impacts identification and management. 
  • The Candidate will focus on and take responsibility for the people side of change, including changes to business processes, system, technology, job roles and organization structures. 
  • A Primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance. 
  • The Candidate develops the overall communication strategy and plan to include creating and delivery of internal and external communications, messages and supporting materials. 
  • The Candidate will lead Presales pursuits, preparing and delivering effective presentations to gain the Client the confidence that client has the knowledge and capability to deliver their requirements and business benefits.

 

Key Skills and Knowledge: 

  • Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the OCM framework, consulting skills, business knowledge, processes, milestones, to analyse Organizational change issues and drive OCM solutions that drive the TOM identified benefits. 
  • Demonstrate experience of the OCM process, with the knowledge and capability to gain acceptance for the proposed OCM strategies as well as providing innovative solutions where the Client has unique differentiating business requirements.  
  • Have experience of several full lifecycle implementations and delivering an effective OCM strategy that results in high levels of adoption by the Business users and minimum disruption to the Business.  
  • Exceptional Business consulting skills, both being able to understand the Clients business challenges and pain points and the ability to problem solve, develop innovative solutions, and gain Client acceptance for proposed solutions.  
  • Exceptional communicator able to engage with all levels of the Client Business, including key stakeholders and decision makers, to build relationships and proactively drive the direction of Client’s relationship with the Client.
  • An ability to identify and proactively resolve issues by gaining agreement from the key decision makers of both Client and Delivery team so that the Transaction objectives are met.  
  • Experience of managing teams consisting of both Implementation team and Client personnel to achieve Transaction objectives.

 

Experience: 

  • Candidate must have experience from two end to end SAP implementations – one of which must have been in the Data Lead role.
