Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a large team of Oracle DBAs and support engineers.
• Oversee day-to-day database operations and ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Install, configure, and manage Oracle databases (18c/19c) in production environments.
• Apply PSU patches and manage database patching across multiple environments and versions.
• Plan and execute database upgrades to 19c; experience with rolling upgrades is a plus.
• Implement and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate for replication and data integration.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot multi-node RAC systems on ASM.
• Lead database upgrade and migration projects across data centers.
• Perform database performance tuning, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions.
• Create and manage ASM instances and perform troubleshooting as needed.
• Ensure compliance with database architecture and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong experience as an Oracle DBA with hands-on experience on Oracle 18c and 19c.
• Extensive experience in RAC/ASM environment setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate implementation and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and internals.
• Experience with database upgrades and migrations across data centers.
• Proven ability to identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization solutions.
• Hands-on experience with IBM AIX, Linux, and SUN Solaris UNIX operating systems.
• Prior experience managing and leading large teams.
