Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL code for complex Oracle databases (19c preferred).
• Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning to ensure application efficiency.
• Monitor database application performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Review, document, and provide feedback on technical specifications and deliverables.
• Refactor existing code to leverage the latest database and hardware technologies.
• Provide direct support to application teams for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Follow and enforce high-quality database development standards.
• Lead or contribute to design discussions, prototype development, and code reviews.
• Maintain supportive relationships within a team and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Apply understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and best practices.
• Assist in capacity planning and monitor system growth to anticipate future bottlenecks.
• Knowledge of GoldenGate replication and Oracle 19c new features is a plus.

Required Skills and Experience

• Primary Skills: Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Secondary Skills: SQL/PLSQL performance tuning, capacity monitoring.
• Minimum 4–7 years of experience in Oracle database development.
• 7+ years of experience with PL/SQL programming.
• 3+ years experience working in an Agile/Scaled Agile environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Process and detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and manage deliverables.
• Knowledge of banking industry processes is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and results-driven mindset.
