Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) Developer to design, develop, and support end-to-end integrations between ReSA, RMS, and other Oracle Retail Suite applications.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PL/SQL, Pro*C, and UNIX scripting, with hands-on experience implementing, customizing, and supporting Oracle Retail v16 or higher in an enterprise retail environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- This position is open to U.S. citizens and Green Card holders only, in accordance with project eligibility requirements.
- Min 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in Oracle Retail (ReSA and RMS).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c, UNIX/Linux, and Oracle Retail integration architecture.
- Familiarity with ReSA data model and RMS staging and transaction tables.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Retail Financial Integration and GL posting flows.
- Experience with Git / Bitbucket, JIRA, and CI/CD processes preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom PL/SQL packages, procedures, and Pro*C programs to extend or enhance ReSA and RMS functionality.
- Customize ReSA batch jobs, interfaces, and processing logic per business needs (e.g., sales feeds, tender adjustments, store day automation).
- Develop custom UNIX shell scripts for job orchestration, file movement, and automation within the Oracle Retail batch framework.
- Participate in configuration of ReSA foundation data, such as stores, tenders, and system options.
- Design and implement end-to-end integration between ReSA and other inbound/outbound systems
- Develop data conversion programs for ReSA
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all ReSA-related components.
- Validate transactional data consistency between POS, ReSA, and RMS.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies between sales totals, tender totals, and inventory adjustments.
