Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and document Oracle PL/SQL applications to meet user requirements.
• Develop new batch processes for data migration, transformation, and support data warehouse modeling (tables, stored procedures, views, functions).
• Implement shared components and frameworks using PL/SQL in a Linux/Solaris environment.
• Perform advanced SQL queries and optimize queries for performance.
• Provide on-call support and work in North American shift timings, including weekends.
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and requirement gathering.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in coding languages, database software, and system standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and support.

Required Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL (advanced queries, tuning).
• Familiarity with Unix and shell scripting.
• Exposure to the financial domain is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Quest SQL Navigator or Toad for SQL development and debugging.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
