We are seeking an experienced Oracle PeopleSoft HCM Business Analyst to support and enhance our Federal Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of PeopleSoft HCM modules, and proven experience working within a Federal environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Identify opportunities for business process improvements and propose effective solutions.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on design documents, test plans, and scenarios.
- Create and maintain documentation in accordance with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Define test scenarios, develop test scripts, and support application configuration.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure proper understanding and implementation of functional designs.
- Review and provide input on proposed system functionality and enhancements.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and Treasury staff to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide support during testing, deployment, and post-implementation phases, including evening and weekend support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Proven Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience with Oracle PeopleSoft HCM.
- Demonstrated experience working within a Federal government environment.
- Strong experience in writing detailed business requirements and translating them into functional design documents.
- Proficiency in software testing, including writing and executing test plans and scripts.
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Must be available for scheduled and ad hoc evening and weekend support.
